Jeff's Den

Today I had the day off at the new place. There was a branch from the tree out back broken off. There wasn’t any bits that could have been salvaged for a walking stick so I made smaller items from it. Started out with an attempt at making a hobo fishing kit. It turned out ok for a first try. It just needs a better lid. Then I made a simple candle holder from a thicker section of the branch. And then I made another wooden case like the hobo fishing kit case. Also pictured are some of my tools and a couple of tin cases I cleaned up and hammered out the branding. All in all the maker inside of me is thoroughly satisfied today. I’m sure it will reawake with a vengence when I wake up again in the morning.
